Firefox Has Passed Its Billionth Download

«    »

According to Mozilla, their “Spread Firefox Download Counter” reached one billion, a milestone that includes downloads of all versions of the popular web browser since its debut in November 2004.

Recent figures from StatCounter suggest that the browser’s worldwide popularity is increasing, taking just under a third of the browser market share.

Mozilla have set up a micro site to celebrate the billionth download of Firefox, which can be seen at http://www.onebillionplusyou.com.
